Moving an IT floor without losing a working day
On a Noida IT floor the furniture is the easy part. The risk sits in the server room and in how fast people can log in at the other end. We run it in three passes:
- Pass 1 — everything that is not needed to work: archives, stores, pantry, spare chairs and unused partitions.
- Pass 2 — workstations, partitions and storage, dismantled and rebuilt against your seat map, bay by bay rather than floor-wide.
- Pass 3 — the server room and user machines, moved last and commissioned first with your IT team present.
Because Noida floors are large, we number the bays at the old office and use the same numbers at the new one. No desk is placed from memory.

- Seat map and bay numbering shared before the move, which is what lets a 100-seat floor be usable the same evening.
