Service Agreement & Booking Terms
What You're Agreeing To
When you book with us—whether for a 1-BHK move in Sector 29, Gurgaon or a larger relocation across the NCR region—you enter a binding service agreement. Your booking is confirmed once you receive our same-day quote via email or SMS and make payment. Our moving crew is IBA-compliant and trained to handle household goods, office inventory, and specialty items across Cyber City, Sushant Lok, DLF Phases, Sohna Road, and MG Road without damage or loss.
Pricing & Payment Terms
Our quotes are transparent and itemized. Starting at ₹2,999 for 1-BHK local Gurgaon moves, all quotes include packing materials, labour, transport, and loading/unloading. GST (as applicable under Indian tax law) is calculated and shown separately. We accept bank transfers, UPI, credit/debit cards, and cheque payments. No advance booking is required—book in 5 minutes and move tomorrow if you choose. Payment terms are 50% at booking confirmation and 50% on completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Scope of Service & Limitations
What We Cover
- Packing, wrapping, and securing items using eco-friendly and durable materials
- Loading and safe placement inside moving vehicles
- Transport to your destination within Gurgaon or NCR
- Unloading and placement in your new space
- Temporary storage (up to 7 days) at our Sector 49 facility upon written request
- Handling of furniture, electronics, kitchenware, and personal belongings
What We Don't Cover
- High-risk items (cash, jewellery, documents, passports, insurance policies)—these remain your responsibility
- Hazardous materials (chemicals, explosives, flammable liquids)
- Live plants, pets, or perishable goods
- Repairs to pre-existing damage on furniture or appliances
- Charges for delays caused by police checks, toll booths, or traffic on Sohna Road and MG Road

Liability, Damage & Claims
Our Responsibility
Gurgaon Packers Movers is liable for damage to your goods caused directly by our crew's negligence during packing, loading, transport, or unloading. Our liability is capped at the depreciated value of the damaged item, not its replacement cost. For a move costing ₹4,500 (e.g., 1.5-BHK from Cyber City to Sushant Lok), we hold ₹15,000–₹25,000 liability cover as standard.
Filing a Damage Claim
- Document the damage with photographs within 24 hours of delivery
- File a written complaint to +91 9911076600 (WhatsApp accepted) with photos attached
- We will assess the claim within 5 working days
- Approved claims are settled via bank transfer within 7 working days
- Claims not filed within 14 days of delivery are not eligible
If the damage value exceeds our liability cap, you may claim against any additional insurance policy you purchased separately.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation by Customer
- Cancellation up to 12 hours before the scheduled move: Full refund of booking amount minus ₹500 administrative fee
- Cancellation 12 hours to 2 hours before: 30% of quoted amount is non-refundable; 70% refunded
- Cancellation less than 2 hours before crew arrival: No refund; booking amount is forfeited
Postponement
If you wish to reschedule your move to another date within 30 days, no charge is applied. Postponements beyond 30 days are treated as new bookings with revised quotes.
Customer Data & Privacy
Your name, address, phone number, and move details are collected to process your booking. We comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not share your data with third parties without written consent. Our data is stored on encrypted servers. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
Conduct & Safety
Your Responsibility
- Ensure the moving address is accurate (e.g., Sector 29, DLF Phase 3 or Sushant Lok III, Gurgaon 122001)
- Provide clear access to lifts, corridors, and parking areas
- Disclose all items being moved, especially valuables or hazardous materials
- Settle payment in full before or on the day of the move

- Arrive within the agreed time window (typically same-day after quote confirmation)
- Use trained, background-verified crew members
- Maintain professional conduct and respect your property
- Provide an itemized invoice with IBA Code MUO-2547 and GST details
Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising from this agreement shall first be resolved through mutual discussion. If unresolved within 14 days, either party may escalate to Gurgaon District Court (Gurgaon, Haryana, India—our registered office jurisdiction). The laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and GST law, shall govern this agreement. Amendments & Notices
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Changes take effect 7 days after posting on our website. Continued use of our services implies acceptance. Important notices are sent via SMS or email to the contact details provided at booking.

Can I cancel my booking, and what's the refund policy?
Cancellations made 48 hours before your scheduled move incur zero penalty and full refund. Within 48 hours, cancellation fee is 25% of quoted amount (minimum ₹500). If Gurgaon Packers Movers cancels due to operational issues, 100% refund is issued within 7 business days. Reschedules (same amount, new date) are free if requested 72 hours in advance.
How is GST calculated in my invoice?
GST of 18% applies to movement labour and vehicle charges. GST of 5% applies to packing materials (boxes, tape, padding). If your total invoice is ₹15,000 (₹10,000 labour + ₹5,000 materials), you pay ₹10,900 (labour + 18% GST) + ₹5,250 (materials + 5% GST) = ₹16,150. Insurance premiums are exempt (0% GST). Your invoice always itemizes GST per line.
What is the process for filing a damage or loss claim?

For a 1-BHK Gurgaon-local move (₹2,999), toll is ~₹200, fuel surcharge ~₹150. For inter-state (Delhi to Gurgaon), tolls can be ₹500–₹1,000. All extras are written in the quote before you confirm.
What happens if your crew doesn't arrive on the scheduled date?
If Gurgaon Packers Movers crew is delayed beyond 2 hours on your move date, you receive ₹500 compensation (non-refundable, applied to final invoice) and priority rescheduling within 24 hours at no extra cost. Force majeure (severe weather, traffic accident, police traffic halt) is excluded. We notify you 24 hours in advance if reschedule is unavoidable due to operational constraints.
